Discovery and content structure
Deciding what the site has to say, and to whom, before any design work starts.
Built properly, then actually maintained.
Website management, often called website maintenance, is the ongoing work that keeps a business website fast, secure and accurate after launch: hosting, domain and DNS records, SSL certificates, software updates, backups, uptime monitoring and content changes. Without it, a site drifts out of date until something visibly breaks, such as an expired padlock or a page that stops loading.
Most small business websites fail slowly rather than all at once. The site launches, then the platform stops being updated, the certificate lapses, plugins drift years out of date and pages quietly stop working. A year later it is a liability instead of an asset.
We build the site and then keep it running: managed hosting, DNS, certificates, updates, backups and uptime monitoring, with content changes handled for you rather than added to someone internal who already has a job.
What is included
Deciding what the site has to say, and to whom, before any design work starts.
A fast, responsive site on a modern stack, not a heavy template carrying twenty plugins.
We host the site, manage the domain records and renew certificates, so the padlock never lapses.
Pages built to load quickly on a phone, which is what both visitors and search ranking reward.
Titles, descriptions, headings, structured data and a sitemap submitted to Google.
Off-site backups, plus alerting that tells us the site is down before a customer tells you.
Send the change and we make it. No page builder to learn and no plugin updates to dread.
Maintenance is a routine, not a rescue. Every month, each site we manage gets the same checklist:
The platform and its components patched as updates are released, after a restore point is taken.
The site is checked around the clock, so an outage alerts us rather than waiting for a customer to notice.
Copies stored separately from the hosting, so one failure cannot take out both.
Tracked well before expiry, so the padlock never lapses and the domain never drops.
Google Search Console reviewed for crawl errors, broken links and pages dropping out of the index.
New services, staff, photos or details updated when you send them.
Hosting is part of the service, not a separate bill from a separate company. Each site is hosted on a platform chosen for its speed and security, and the domain stays registered in your business name. If you ever leave, we hand over the files, the domain and the hosting access.
Our work
A real business, live today. It is fast on a phone, easy to update and built around the one thing the business needs visitors to do.

Every site goes through the same four steps. Scroll to watch one come together.
We agree what the site has to do and for whom, then sketch every page as a wireframe before any design starts.
Your colours, type and photography go onto the wireframe, checked on a phone, a tablet and a desktop.
Hand-written, modern code on a fast stack. No page builder and no pile of plugins, so it stays quick and secure.
We connect the domain, switch on the certificate, backups and monitoring, and test speed, accessibility and search first.
Try it
Change the colour, type, corners and screen size of this sample site. Each choice restyles the whole page at once, the way a well-built design system lets us adjust a real site without rebuilding it.
Proof, not promises

Free website check
Enter your website address. Google's own testing tool loads it on a simulated phone and scores it, the same test we run on every site we build. It takes about 20 seconds.

Yes. The domain is registered in your business name and the site is yours. If you leave, we hand over the files, the domain and the hosting access in writing.
Usually. We review what it runs on, what condition it is in and whether it can be secured and maintained. If it cannot, we will tell you that rather than charge to maintain something unsafe.
We structure it and can draft it. You know your business and your customers, so the specifics come from you, then we shape it into pages that read well and rank.
It depends on the size of the site and how often it changes, so we review the site first and then quote a fixed monthly price. The price stays fixed unless you ask for a new project, such as a redesign. There is no long contract: the agreement is month-to-month, with 30 days notice to leave.
Monitoring alerts us first. We find the cause, fix it or restore from the latest backup, and tell you what happened. Response times are set out in writing in your service agreement.
