Discovery and planning
An inventory of mailboxes, shared mailboxes, aliases, file locations and DNS records, and a cutover plan with dates agreed in advance.
Every mailbox and file moved, into a tenant set up properly from day one.
A Microsoft 365 migration moves email, calendars, contacts and files from another platform, such as Google Workspace, an on-premises Exchange server or a reseller-managed account, into a Microsoft 365 tenant that the business controls. Done properly, staff finish Friday in the old system and start Monday in the new one with nothing missing.
Businesses arrive at Microsoft 365 from all sorts of starting points: Google Workspace, an ageing Exchange server in a cupboard, a subscription bought through a domain registrar with limited admin access, or a mix of personal and business addresses that grew up over the years.
We plan the move around your working week. Mail, calendars, contacts and files are copied ahead of time, the switch happens outside business hours, and the new tenant has sensible security and licensing in place before anyone signs in.
What is included
An inventory of mailboxes, shared mailboxes, aliases, file locations and DNS records, and a cutover plan with dates agreed in advance.
A tenant in the name of your business, with admin roles, licensing, sign-in security and naming standards in place.
Mail, calendars and contacts copied from Google Workspace, IMAP, Exchange or another tenant, with a final sync at cutover.
Shared drives and personal files moved into SharePoint and OneDrive, keeping folder structure and, where possible, permissions.
MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records updated so mail arrives reliably and your domain is harder to spoof.
Moving out of a Microsoft 365 subscription bought through a reseller such as GoDaddy into one you fully control.
Help getting Outlook, phones and Teams connected on the first day, so nobody is left without mail.
Questions
No. Mail is copied in the background before cutover, and a final sync after the DNS change catches anything that arrived in between. Staff may see a short delay while records update, not missing mail.
For a small office, planning to cutover usually takes a few weeks, most of it preparation that does not disturb anyone. The switch itself happens outside working hours.
Yes. Gmail, Google Calendar, contacts and Google Drive files all move across, and we help staff settle into Outlook and OneDrive afterwards.
Yes, it stays yours. We update the records at your registrar to point mail at Microsoft 365, and the domain stays registered in your name.
